OfSTED Visit 2009

At the end of January 2009 St Mary's Church of England Nursery and Infant School had visits from two OfSTED Inspectors. As with previous inspection reports (2005 and 2006) these 2009 Reports make very pleasing reading. The governors are particularly proud of the following comments:

• relationships are strong and consequently, attitudes to learning and behaviour are excellent
• the outstanding curriculum helps them develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy and information and communication technology (ICT). It promotes their personal development through its excellent outdoor learning programme.
• the head teacher provides excellent leadership and has a strong vision for the school
• the talented and dedicated staff work hard to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all pupils
